Please go to the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) site. You will see a link to a petition that is actually being used by them to press the Congress to pass a law to shut down efforts to enact stealth regulations on the broadcast industry. This is something that in the past has been ironically named the “Fairness Doctrine”. There is nothing “fair” about the Fairness Doctrine. It is a thinly veiled move by the left to shut down conservative talk radio as it was a few decades ago before it was repealed at that time. Rush didn’t just appear from nowhere. He came about as a result of the previous “Fairness Doctine” being repealed.
Discerning Texan has a good summation article on the whole subject including the boycott of AP and a discussion on the Fair Use doctrine. I can identify with his evolution as a blogger and his questions about drawing notice to his articles. He does a good enough job that he hooks me more times than not.
It’s a full-time job keeping up with the lefty attempts to shut down dissenting voices. They won’t stop either. I’m waiting for my first visit from the “Truth Police”. I’m thankful for sites such as DT.
